I never liked the idea that MSSQL worked only for windows machines, that was for years. It’s obvious that Microsoft slowly changes the company business strategies, at last 🙂
Here is an article about installing Microsoft SQL server 2017 on Ubuntu 16.04. It’s just the beginning. Microsoft needs a change. We will see if it really works. Of course don’t expect that runs like mysql with very low specs, mssql needs at minimum 3.25 GB of memory.
